Veterinary Registrar in Equine Ambulatory
Adele graduated from The University of Melbourne and began her veterinary journey at a mixed practice in Darwin. Having a particular interest in sport horses, Adele then undertook a racing focused internship at The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC). This led to an ambulatory role with HKJC servicing the locally retired racehorses, ponies and warmbloods at ten riding school establishments. She was also involved with the retraining and rehabilitation program of retired Thoroughbreds transitioning into a second discipline. After 4 years, Adele decided to move back to Melbourne to be closer to family after having no contact during the COVID years and started work at a referral hospital in Melbourne’s southeast.
Adele enjoys teaching veterinary students whilst on their clinical placements, so taking the opportunity to work at a veterinary teaching hospital, she has joined Camden Equine Centre as one of the ambulatory veterinary clinical registrars.
Adele is also certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and is studying for memberships in Equine Sport Medicine and Rehabilitation.
