Dr Albert Tsang

Senior Lecturer in Equine Practice

BVSc (Hons), MVetStud (Equine Sports Medicine), PhD

Albert graduated from the University of Sydney in 2011 and commenced an internship in equine medicine and surgery in 2012.

He stayed on as an intern at the University for an additional year with greater responsibility in equine medicine and diagnostic imaging.

In July 2015, Albert returned to the University of Sydney and commenced a residency in equine sports medicine and obtained a master’s degree in equine sports medicine.

After the completion of his residency program, Albert completed a doctoral thesis by research, examining the effectiveness of stem cell therapy in tendon injuries in horses.

Since 2020, Albert has been teaching large animal practical skills throughout DVM program and recently re-joined the Camden Equine Centre with a stronger focus on general equine practice and clinical teaching.
