Veterinary Registrar in Equine Ambulatory
Originally from Hong Kong, Cyrus has always had a deep connection to horses thanks to the vibrant horse racing industry back home. Cyrus graduated from Melbourne University in 2020. Upon graduation, he pursued an 18-month equine internship in surgery at Ballarat Equine Clinic, where he stayed on for another year to further develop his clinical expertise and interest. He then moved to New South Wales in 2023 and has since then worked at Camden Equine Centre as an ambulatory veterinarian. Cyrus is also an FEI treating and official veterinarian, and you may see him at different events. Cyrus is interested in equine surgery, particularly soft tissue surgery and arthroscopies, as well as after-hours emergency care. He is planning to pursue further training in surgery. Outside of work, he enjoys catching up on his reading list and exploring dessert spots with his partner.
