Animal Attendant
Bruce has been an animal attendant at the University of Sydney for nearly 12 years.
Bruce works closely with the veterinary team to transfer and position horses for surgeries and other procedures, as well as looking after the housing and general health and wellbeing of the hospital’s patients.
Bruce studied agriculture at the Longreach Pastoral College before starting his career as a jackaroo on a Queensland station. Bruce also worked at JR Stud, a thoroughbred breeding property in Tahmoor for 22 years including 12 years as Stud Manager.
