We are excited to share the news that from January 21, we’re undertaking a major change to the services we provide at the Camden Equine Centre.
Firstly, we will be expanding our ambulatory service. We will have an additional fully equipped vehicle on the road. Our specialist veterinarians (Dr Sara Biasutti, Dr Robin Bell, Dr Marta Wereszka and Dr Liz Tee) will contribute to this service on a rotational basis
Equally exciting is the fact that starting in January 2021, our hospital will be transitioning to a service focussed on equine sports medicine and rehabilitation, building on our already outstanding team of dedicated practitioners led by Dr Robin Bell. This is a major development for Australian horse owners! This service will be supported by internal medicine and surgery specialists and we will be purchasing high-end diagnostic and therapeutic equipment so we can provide your horse with the best possible care.
These changes show our commitment and dedication to keeping your horses’ injury-free and at the top of their sport.
As a part of this change, please be aware that our equine hospital hours will change. From January 4, 2021, we will operate Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm. To allow for a safe transition, we will cease to take intensive cases from December 14, 2020.

In addition to the changes in hospital services, our expanded ambulatory service will include a 24/7 on-call service and will start operating from December 14, 2020.

Please note, operating hours remain unchanged for the remainder of the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital – Camden (livestock, small animal, pathology and AREPH (Avian, Reptile & Exotic Hospital)).
