If you have ever visited Camden Equine Centre chance are Kev, Bruce or John have been here to say G’day and lend a hand.

Kevin Bertie aka “Bertie” has been breaking and starting horses since his twenties; he has been involved in Thoroughbred studs along as being the best known Ringside Attendant at the Inglis
sales. Kev has worked at the Inglis sales for 43 years and has handled some of Australia’s most expensive and sometimes most difficult racehorses.

Bruce Tye studied at the Longreach Pastoral College before starting his career as a jackaroo on a Queensland station. Bruce also worked at the JR Stud at Tahmoor for 22 years including 12 years working as Stud Manager.

John Kelly is a Master Farrier and has been breaking and starting horses for over 30 years within a number of disciplines including campdrafting, polocrosse, hacking, dressage and showjumping. John has been responsible for preparing many horses and riders for performances such as “Man from Snowy River“, “Ned, the Legend of Ned Kelly“, “Jemma, Spirit of the Outback” and Sydney Royal Easter Show.
